Margaret started training dogs over 40 years ago in the St. Cloud community. Part of that time Margaret was the acting Director of Training for the Granite City Kennel Club. In 1990 we started Excel Dog Training with the intent to bring to dog owners the best methods possible to successfully train your dog. Over the years dog training has evolved and so have we. We believe our programs combine the best of all philosophies both old and new. Dog Ownership/Training is all about RELATIONSHIP and UNDERSTANDING between you and your dog.

All dogs both young and old deserve to be trained. Our training is built on positive reinforcement. With this method dogs respond faster and are happier.
